This is my younger brother Thomas Lincoln Coupe. Today is his birthday. Before Thom was born, our older brother Sam and I were riding to Maine with our parents, Kate and Ernie and we were tossing around names that we thought we be good for our new baby brother. I was nearly 4 years old and I pitched we name him Tree Houses. Yes, plural. Anyway, not to make this about me, but to this day I like to think I’m the mastermind behind Thom’s name, because the TH was obviously subconsciously derived from Tree Houses.
Anyway, Thom Tree Houses Lincoln Coupe, I love you. You are a constant inspiration to me and reminder of what greatness looks like. You are one of the great ones and I am honored and humbled to be your sister and writing partner. Happy happy happy BIRTHDAY!
