#Regram #RG @AfricanParksNetwork: Continued hope for the protection of Zambia’s national parks and wildlife as the Government steps up partnerships with conservation organisations. We commend the Zambian Government as they commit to increasing wildlife conservation efforts in the country to enhance capacity and transfer knowledge, skills and technology. African Parks has partnered with the Government of Zambia and the Department of National Parks and Wildlife since 2003 and has experienced the benefit of these partnerships first hand as we have achieved remarkable results in both @liuwaplainnationalpark and Bangweulu Wetlands, which have been under our management since 2003 and 2008 respectively. Wildlife populations have increased, communities are thriving and tourism is flourishing. However, this would not have been possible without the support of the local communities and wildlife authority.
