Word of advice, take the saying “never judge a book by its cover” seriously. Would you have known by looking at this photo that last night I spent 11 hrs in a crippling panic attack, I was diagnosed with PTSD last summer from experiences I had in my childhood & spent 2 weeks in a trauma center because I contemplated suicide while having a panic attack that lasted 6 days? No I don’t think so, that’s the thing, everybody is going through internal pain & struggles that you don’t know about. Although you might not be able to tell in this photo, I have struggled with my mental health since I was a child & though I have gotten good at balancing my nervous system I will have to deal with this for the rest of my life. If there is one thing I want you to get from this post it is that everybody is going through a secret battle and just wants a hand to hold to help them get through it. Be the person who is compassionate & empathetic not the douchebag who says your fine & to stop crying. Love you all, this is your reminder that we are all human & we need each other more than ever. ? @jonsams
