Firas, 17, tragically lost his father and his legs one day when a mortar shell struck the family’s shop in #Syria.
With the help of a UNICEF-supported case manager, Firas was referred to a local NGO, underwent the necessary surgery and got prosthetics.

For children with disabilities, assistive technology helps them participate in their community and chase their dreams.

Over 5,800 children with disabilities in Syria have received our support through cash-transfers in 2018 alone.
