Truthfully disgusted by the lack of empathy in this country for the sake of money. The fact that we truly live in a country that speaks so freely about the wars we engage in being to protect freedom. If you believe in freedom, how do you create a whole system that thrives off of the enslavement of vulnerable people? It is not a crime to migrate the earth we were given, it is not a crime to be poor, it is not a crime to speak your mother tongue, it is not a crime to be black or brown, it is NOT a crime to be alive and the punishment should not be a cash out on destroying families. Shame on all of us because we are the only ones who can take responsibility for the state of this country.
