You can actually achieve that lift/volume from the scalp while curling, without the need to tease and mess with the curls after. ?Simply have the section of the hair brushed by over-directing, and have the curling iron sit 2 fingers away from the section line. ? The distance from the section line to the curling iron will actually be the height of the lift from the scalp! ?Take a close look at the difference between the hair piece that was over-directed having the curling iron sit two fingers away from the section line, and the one that was brushed regularly and had the curling iron sit on the section line - huge lift/volume difference!
