Still appreciate the mixtape culture, it’s where i come from. But just like everything does, the game changes and you either adapt or get left behind. So now mixtapes are being released & processed like albums.. and now it can be digested thru all the streaming companies & services. Also a way for the new audience to get your mixtape without leaving their usual way of consuming music. And my early mixtape fans won’t have the complaint “why aren’t the Soul Tape’s or There Is No Competition Mixtapes on Streaming Platforms they’ve converted over to. May take a little more time because we now have to clear samples & get songs injected in online playlists & streaming formats, but the outcome will be as dope as the era before. So I’m adapting to the process, a Level Up from the tradition way of dropping a mixtape. And with all that said, had a meeting with @apple, @ビーツ・エレクトロニクス, @defjam, & @rocnation in LA to play them some of the new mixtape coming... the wait is almost over. Summertime Shootout 3 on the way!
