I never got to know Denis that well but I always enjoyed skating with him at Paramount and Toyota Center and I was constantly awed by his jumps and speed and flow across the ice, and his dedication to becoming the best skater that he could when he was practicing. It breaks my heart to hear of his tragic passing, RIP Denis ?
