#Mongolia is the ultimate untamed, adventurer's paradise, with over 1.5 million km² of wild, dramatic landscapes to discover – but doing so isn't always easy in such a vast nation. In 2016, the country adopted a revolutionary new location initiative as its official postal system – @what3words. The system works by dividing space into 3x3m squares, and assigning 3 random words to each to act as a reference point, meaning anyone can accurately locate specific places, even in the most isolated of locales. We've joined forces with What3Words to feature such addresses for POIs in our latest Mongolia guidebook. Isn't.That.Awesome. ??
