Clara just lived the most extreme version of her best life: flower girl. ?? I feel like she was designed for it. She took her role very seriously and was totally obsessed with every aspect. And there was some AH-MAZING choreography on the dance floor. ???⠀

People come in and out of your life all the time and sometimes you meet someone that just “fits”. When we moved to Mars four years ago, Marc met a young guy, named Clayton, who was starting a handyman business, and he hired him to do some odd jobs. ? His work ethic and his kindness (plus, his self deprecating humor) quickly endeared him to us. ?⠀

Then he introduced us to his adorable girlfriend, Lauren, who was just as amazing. She had a loving but very strong and independent way about her and my girls quickly grew to love her, too. (And she takes Clara to visit her horses, so, BONUS!) ? ⠀
⠀
They quietly became part of our lives and were soon bringing Maggie special treats, taking Clara for ice cream for good report cards and taking the time to stop over on holidays. ? ? When we get in a bind, they will drop everything to help us. I can’t tell you how many times, Clayton the Manny, has picked Clara up from school when my flight is late arriving. ? ⠀

And when they got engaged, they really wanted to include Clara in their special day. ? ? Of course, she was honored and so were we. It was so wonderful to see them get married yesterday and sometimes you just KNOW that a couple will make it. They are one of them and I’m so so so thankful that we have them in our lives. ?⠀

They will probably never read this because they aren’t all over social media, but I wanted to share them with all of you. So, cheers ? to Lauren and Clayton. ? ⠀
