The BIG #AVMA2018 convention is going on now in Denver. (It's ironic that the city of Denver recently banned declawing)
Look at this comment that the AVMA made in 2014 and below it is their ad for profiting with the $35,000 laser machines by doing declaws, in a course at their 2015 AVMA convention.
I read that the most common procedure that is done with one of those lasers is a declaw.
PLEASE post photos of your kitties or photos of declawed kitties with the hashtag #AVMA2018 and #AVMA and write messages to inspire the AVMA to completely condemn declawing like the Canadian veterinary associations are doing. Enough is enough.
Increasing revenue at a vet practice by BURNING off a cat's toes and claws is just barbaric, below the standard of care, and so wrong!!!!!
