Trying to put into words what the experience of this last week was like. We crawled through damp bat filled caves. Produced hours of television for @Good Morning America @abcworldnewstonight @Nightline and digital. I was lucky to receive special permission from the Thai Air Force in charge of drone ops to fly my drone (one of my favorite jobs) for our @abc2020 special. For final three days we spent hours working in a muddy Pineapple field with dozens of journalists as we watched 13 ambulances leave carrying the boys and assistant coach. Pure joy. There were so many unforgettable stories in between but the best was watching the team come out alive after 2 + week’s of being trapped inside the #SleepingPrincess. A pleasure to work with this ABC team who slept very little, sweated a lot and schlepped hundreds of pounds of equipment through the forests to bring you this story of hope and survival. Couldn’t have done it without my best bud @MattGutmanABC & Scott Shulman And @brandonbaur & Karson Yiu behind the scene conducting the symphony. Aicha and all the local fixers helped tremendously in locking down interviews. @jamesaalongman you’re a Pineapple Delight, we just met and there I was interviewing you for the special. Lastly, thanks to the #Thai people for being so great to us, can’t wait to come back on vacation!
