I’m deeply grateful to have stood alongside the courageous people of Peekskill today. Building a massive fracked gas pipeline alongside the Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant puts the lives of our children in jeopardy. And it shouldn’t have taken four state agencies, $250K, and two years to know that it's dangerous. It’s time to treat the earth as our shared home. As Governor, I will immediately turn off the gas flowing through the Algonquin pipeline.
