Hi Everyone, I want to share a story with you guys... On the left is my good friend Jochem ?? He is responsible for all of the great pictures and videos I get to share with each and every one of you. A couple of days ago we were in Mykonos and Jochem had a pretty bad accident. When I saw what had happened I ran over to him. There he was laying on the ground with his left Knee split wide open. I told him not to move and to just keep calm and lay there until help arrived. I asked him, what hurts? He responded with, “my right ankle”. I was in total shock because there I was looking at the bone sticking out of his left knee, with blood pouring down his leg. He didn't feel anything in his left knee and was just saying how much his right ankle hurt. I told him to just relax and breath and that everything was going to be alright. I kissed him on his forehead, and started to pray, please let everything be alright. He was calm the entire time, there was no screaming or yelling in pain. At this time I started to get very emotional. I started crying because he didn't feel any pain. I was worried that he was paralyzed and was praying, please let him walk again, please let him walk again. A couple of minutes later a hotel guest from South Africa ran over saying that he was a doctor and to let him help. He started talking to Jochem telling him to remain calm and to stay awake. Once the ambulance arrived they took Jochem to a hospital in Mykonos where we were told he needed to be airlifted by jet to Athens to undergo emergency surgery. Jochem had 2 surgeries, one on his left knee and one on his right ankle. Jochem will be staying in Athens for a while before he can travel back home to the Netherlands. I have been reassured that everything will be alright, and that Jochem will be able to walk again after physical therapy. Thank you to all those who helped my dear friend ❤️❤️????
