How do you go from competing with Michael Phelps to win an Olympic gold medal...to homeless, broke, living in your car?

The man on the left side of this photo looked like he had it all together, his name is Klete Keller. He was a part of the gold medal relay team of Athens 2004, alongside Phelps.
A few years later, he was jobless, living in his car, all over the course of 24 hours.
Klete Keller experienced the height of Olympic achievements but when he ended his career, he sunk into a deep depression. "I expected it all to come to me as easily as swimming did." He struggled with real life after peaking in performance on the biggest of stages and life after swimming just went from low to lower. "One day I came back from work and there was a letter from my wife, listing everything that was not good. It all hit me that night. The next day I lost my job, and got kicked out of the house." Now, Klete is rebuilding his life. We spoke to him on the #OlympicChannelPodcast about the journey from Olympic gold, to rock bottom (link in bio).
