My favorite thing to see in Moscow during this World Cup is the number of fans and tourists truly enjoying their experience here in Russia. Many people came here with preconceived notions of this country being a cold, unwelcoming place where bears walk the streets and hooligans are ready to mug you on every corner. I love seeing these media-driven stereotypes broken down as people are experiencing Russia’s hospitable people, great food and beautiful sights - the Russia that Western media never shows and the Russia I love so much. I hope that this sends a message to the world that this country isn’t defined solely by its politics, just like Americans shouldn’t be defined solely by the actions of our leader. I wish for everyone to visit Russia one day and experience it for themselves. ⚽️??? #fifaworldcup #russia2018
