Inside the Iris van Herpen atelier, preparing the ‘Bionica’ dress. To create this dress, bird soundwave patterns are laser-cut of mylar and white cotton to then be heat-bonded to a two-toned dyed blue organza, layering the silk like a feather’s architecture.
