One year ago today the best man I have ever known was taken from us. As I look up at the picture on my wall it still doesn't seem like it could be our reality, but sadly it is. I do the best I can every single day to find the good in life- to be positive & hopeful the way you always were. Sometimes it's not easy, but I know it's what you would've wanted. I think back to how much fun we had together.. how when something silly or ridiculous went on during my day, I’d be so excited to tell you, knowing you’d burst out laughing right along with me. We were always on the same page. You were there for me & jess with anything & everything we needed- which sometimes was a lot considering we’re just learning how to get through this crazy life and somehow you knew it all. Perfectly. We sometimes sit back and don’t know how we’re going to do it all without you, but I hope you give us the strength to move through life as beautifully as you did. I pray I never forget your laugh and I always feel you beside me.
Like you always said- “it’s not over til it’s over.” Our lives will go on and I will live everyday to make you smile. We love you always.
