Was downtown #LosAngeles the other day and ran into this gentlemen.I didn’t do the usual and approach him,he just walked right up to me. Maybe it was hustle. Maybe Augustine just needed someone to talk to. He whispered to me he was homeless.He said he was strung out.He didn’t ask for anything.I finally just asked the obvious.”Can you tell me about the tattoo near your eye” He just laughed and said “Another mistake” He explained how it happened.He had too many Michilob’s and just walked into a tattoo shop for no reason.I asked him if any gang members ever came up on him because of it.He said no, and then said it’s actually helped him in some situations.
