All good things must come to an end... heading to the theater for our final two performances of SKELETON CREW today. Walking in Shanita’s steel-toed boots and speaking @domorisseau’s delicious (and culturally nutritious) language has been a joy. Shoutout to the dream team, @patriciamcgregor @carolineclayactor @amarimaalik @dbwofficial who gave their hearts and souls and guts to every moment of this run. Thanks to @geffenplayhouse for letting us give your audiences something they maybe weren’t expecting and didn’t know they needed. Farewell, #SkeletonCrewGP. “It’s gonna be a full day. The only way to get through it is together.” UPDATE!! And my humblest, deepest bow to our audiences— to every person who came from near and far to give and receive with us every night. To those who came for healing and those who came to be seen by and reflected in this story and it’s characters, I hope we gave you what you needed.
