I wanted to share with you the amazing Amicus Brief that the @aclu_michigan wrote for us. I'm pretty sure it's the first time they helped a cat and our cause! PLEASE thank them!!!
Here's the part that says, "Shepler’s advocacy against declawing is entitled to the highest rung of First Amendment protection."
We are grateful that the @aclu_nationwide helped protect our right to free speech for our important cause to end this cat cruelty. ?❤️

Always take the high road. When you are mean or disrespectful it hurts the cause, it's wrong, and as in this case, it hurt us. ??
We are now going to focus our efforts on educating the public in Michigan and in America about the awful truth about declawing and about the easy, humane alternatives to this barbaric amputation procedure. #pawsneedclaws
