She is active as an actress from her teens, and appeared in the movie “Swallowtail”, released in 1996, directed by Shunji Iwai, and got New Actor Award and Outstanding Supporting Actress Award, even she was only 16 years old.

Then, she appeared in several movies and TV series, and established the position of an talented actress.

Also, other than acting, she performed vocal of the band “ Mean Machine”, which was formed by 5 women in 2001.

Her out-side-box activity is getting public attention.
