“Guyon’s door into this season’s collection was a dive back into the archive of Ms. Schiaparelli herself- she loved animals, hence the theme; she dressed only in black in the day, thus came the more austere, black parts of the collection; she loved fine furs - ‘leopard fur monkey fur, impossible to use today’ Guyon explained, ‘and so our way was to explore animal prints on fabrics and to realise a special fake fur, using knit work and nylon fur.” @aubejolicoeur backstage at the @スキャパレリ Couture show by @actuallynicholas.
