This week's #RoleModelMonday goes to recent Ph.D grad, Mareena Robinson Snowden! Mareena is the first black women ever to have graduated with a Ph.D in Nuclear Engineering from MIT. All I can say is... WOW! How does this achievement make her feel? "Grateful is the best word I have to describe how I feel. Grateful for every part of this experience - highs and lows," she explains. Even though there was never another black woman to accomplish this type of PHD, she didn't let it stop her and moved forward by paving her own path. Thank you for showing us that being a FIRST is possible when you put your mind to it!
