Say hi to Jennifer Bouron (@jeninuferu)! She is a print designer and illustrator based in France, whose work takes on a strong, bold color palette. She *always* has pink in her illustrations, but she loves to mix it up with dark blues and green.
Having an Instagram account with thousands of followers has helped her career immensely, and she claims it’s social media that helped to start her career as a freelance illustrator. Of course, her success didn’t happen overnight. Her tips for creating a great feed and gain a following is to take the time to think about what you want to show in your posts. For Jennifer, Instagram is part of her work, so she takes care to only share her drawings and collaborations instead of, say, her daily outfits or meals.

For inspiration she loves to turn to podcasts about strong women entrepreneurs and artists. She also looks to plants and daily life for subjects she’s illustrating. The plants don’t even need to be 100% like reality, she says, since she prefers to create her “own plants.” ? #ShineTheory
