I saw my friend do this (thanks @Sazan Hendrix)and thought it was a great idea, so I’m doing it. A get to know me post (and if you already know me, a get to know me better) I’ve been an actor since I was 4, but in the last three years I’ve pushed myself out of my comfort zone. 3 years ago, I became an entrepreneur and started @Foodstirs (the most ethically sourced organic baking mix company on the planet) My favorite mix currently is the Chocolate Coconut Chewy Oat Bar- a little oil and water and in 25 min I have yummy bars to feed my family for a week. Then last year, I published my first book #stirringupfunwithfood (wonder what’s next?!?) I may have won a lot of awards, but my greatest achievement is my two kids. Charlotte (8) and Rocky (5) I know a lot of people are disappointed by my choice to only occasionally share pics of them, but I do that to protect them. Until they are old enough to understand the permanence of social media and make their own choices of what they wish to share, that’s just how it will be. I was born in New York and now I live in LA. My favorite hobby is reading. I try and read two books a week if I can. This week I read #wewereliars by @elockhartbooks (which I loved) and now #BringMeBack by @baparisauthor. I love it when you send me book suggestions and often get books based on your recommendations (yes I have a library card) I love books so much I collect first edition books. I am passionate about charity work and making a difference. I recently joined the Board of Directors of @goodplusfdn and I’m really excited about my new role.
I also love Broadway and could see a show every day and be happy. My two faves are Hamilton and Chess.
I love to travel and have been to more than 20 countries (hoping to double that) My favorite food is sushi, and I will pretty much eat anything from the sea (although I don’t care for ankimo) I even love Fugu which is Japanese poisonous blowfish. And just so you know, I write all my own posts, so sometimes you have to have a little patience with me, but I try and read everything. So that’s me.
