Today would’ve been my mom’s 57th birthday. Living back in Kansas City brings comes with constant reminders of just how effortlessly she guided us through all of the challenges that life presented. She never wavered, and she always knew just what to do and say. People always daydream about what they would say if they could have just one more conversation. I think she’d enjoy reminiscing about silly memories like this one that left me feeling like the luckiest son in the world.
