One of my favorite things we’ve done so far on our trip is kayaking in Monterey Bay. For a few reasons: 1) We saw sea otters, sea lions, dolphins, and harbor seals pretty up close AND orcas jumping in the distance which our guide said was a rare sight for a kayaking trip. 2) Harlow and I drifted pretty close to one of the sea otters accidentally, who was lounging on his back while wrapped in kelp. He turned his head to look straight at us and he had the cutest face I have ever seen. Harlow was instantly in love. When we got back to land, she told everyone, “I will never forget that cute face in my entire life!” And 3) I left my phone safely on land during our tour. It was really nice to spend a few hours not worrying about taking pics and videos and just enjoying myself! Thank you @adventuresbythesea for a great tour! If you go, ask for Jeff.
