I’ve always admired artists and creators who beat down doors and put themselves out there in a big way. It takes true grit to do that. In many ways, I’ve always been too timid. Making videos suits me, because it makes me feel like I don’t have to engage in that game.

There are benefits to creating independently, behind the safety of a laptop screen. It tends to keep my expectations in check, and I end up doing things because I generally enjoy doing them, not because I’m hoping for a specific result. But I also find myself frequently setting low expectations and selling my own vision short. ⠀⠀ The past year, my explorations in AI composition have taken on a life of their own. It’s been exhilarating to see such a weird hobby get any traction - and it all began out of curiosity. In the past 6 months, I’ve been asked to perform more than I have in 15 years, and within the past 3 weeks, Break Free has broken onto the radio charts..and is slowly moving up.
