It’s snowing in mid-April in the high desert where it never snows. I’m desperately looking for a subject to take advantage of this rare situation, when the workers from a factory on the left come outside to check out the snow as surprised as I was. And thank God, for the guy with the red umbrella to walk into the middle of my frame. Block him with your hand and you can see how the photograph changes from extraordinary to ordinary without the red focal point. Heavenly intervention? Maybe.
