1997- Present: An autodidactic education in comedy. ❤️There is no right or wrong way to love comedy. Some people had the benefit of a comedy mentor, older sibling or showbiz family others just hit the pavement trying open mics or writing. Some people come to it late in life, others do stand up at middle school talent shows. Personally I’ve loved comedy and words my whole life. Today I cleaned out my garage and I came face to face with all the bits I had scraped together to form an education without even realizing it. All the books I read as a kid and continued to read into adulthood, all the comedy based gifts friends gave (I have about 5 copies of that SNL book bc it came around around when I graduated high school) This career can make you feel so alone and It’s nice to be reminded where I came from and what I learned on my way here. ?The last page is a set list from about 2007, random. ?
