the girl on my back is Dayton and she told me, "I want to be a doctor so I could help veterans!!!" So I said, "I will come to you in 25 years when my joints & bones hurt so you could help me" (when I'm a veteran of touring of course ?). We were repairing a foster family house with @angelsarmsstl and all Dayton wanted to do was help paint the swing set and wash paintbrushes and carry loads that were triple her size & way too heavy for her. I loved experiencing the enthusiasm and eagerness to help through her eyes because it was not perceived as work or a chore, it was simply about creating & collaborating and having fun together. We have so much too learn from youngsters. S/O to the fans who joined us for this #krewmmunityservice event today! ✌️
