I’ve tried to come up with something sharp or witty, emotionally deep or profound. Yet all I have in my heart and on my mind is gratitude. To my family, my partner and team, my friends and all the fans, you all who have supported me along this journey. After so long. So much passion, sacrifice, dedication...to finally have made the Olympics, to have finally earned our place among the best in the world. And to be humbled by all the poise, grace and humility displayed by all the amazing athletes. For me, being able to compete on Olympic Ice was a dream come true. Even though I wish I had performed better, I treasure every lesson learned and memory made. The growth and insight gained from such a unique and beautiful experience...new friendships forged, old friendships rekindled. So for me this #olympicday is about gratitude. ? ?? ?
