Scared stiff and loaded with worms (top right). One puppy has a prolapsed anus so our vet is working him into his schedule tomorrow morning. They were loaded with ticks & fleas but the kind volunteers at the shelter cleaned them up and we applied Advantix. Mom's teeth are a mess. She's so sweet to the pups, she knew they were scared so she climbed on top of them so they could hide under her like a mother hen. Heartbreaking that some dirtbag had them living in filth, eating trash and anything they could find. We're grateful we were able to take them in. @jncapture will get some photos and give them names in the next day or two. We want them to chill out and realize they are safe. Side note: I felt like I had a winning lottery ticket when I found some drontal (dewormer) in my supplies! All are dosed and the evil worms should be dead shortly! ??
