This week's #RoleModelMonday goes to 12-year-old dancer Valory Newton. A few years back, @valnewt’s doctor found a tumor in her leg, and months later, found live cancer cells. The only route to ensure the cancer wouldn't spread was removing her whole leg. But guess who was back to dancing around her room, the DAY after her surgery? The optimistic and lively Valory. And less than a year after losing her leg, she was back in the dance studio and back on stage. Although her journey to full recovery is not yet over, she has plans for lots of dancing. Her passion and determination are truly moving, and I think we can all learn so much from her. Watch this incredible solo performance!
