The Queen, Sovereign of the Order of the Garter, departs St George's Chapel following today's Garter procession & Service.

The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge, The Duke of York, The Earl of Wessex, The Princess Royal, The Duke of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent & Princess Alexandra are all members, alongside 24 other Knights. Knights of the Garter are chosen personally by the Sovereign to honour those who have held public office, who have contributed in a particular way to national life or who have served the Sovereign personally.
