My husband with his dad, Pete, who makes amazing wine and has Parkinson’s. 145,000 people in UK diagnosed with Parkinson’s this year, it’s not hereditary, it begins in the gut.
Repost from @cinzano_pirelli ・・・ Father’s Day seems a particularly apt day to let you know what I am doing with my wonderful dad later this year. He’s got Parkinson’s and we’re riding the entire length of the British Isles in 9 days (23 counties, 3 countries, the equivalent of 2 Everests and 969 miles) to raise money to help find a cure for this cruel disease.
Please, please spare a few moments and a couple quid for Parkinson’s UK who not only fund research into finding a cure for Parkinson’s but also into the efficacy of clinical trials themselves which in turn could help find a breakthrough for all diseases which are yet to have a cure.
