Reflecting on my immersive birthday adventure yesterday: @dbelicious oversaw an all day, puzzle-filled, sadistic, mysterious, heart-pounding, escape rooming, rumination on life and the choices we make within it. Thanks to the brilliant Darren Bousman and Clint Sears of @theexperiences_ for creating this dizzying alternate existence, to the tireless Damian Acosta (@thegknee) for executing everything with utter excellence, to my great friend Jonathan Bayme (@theory11) for his bountiful brainpower, and to all who played along throughout the stressful yet stupendous day (including @sleepnomorenyc, @tannensmagic, @exodusescapenyc, @cookshopny, @equinox, @thenomadhotel). But mostly to David. He continues to fill my life with adventures unimaginable, yet apparently not. If 45 is going to continue at this rate, it’s gonna be quite the year. Well played.
