I’m at the 4 week mark out from surgery. Besides going for a drive with my man, my doctors came over for brunch. Dr Jay Orringer and Dr Scott Sullivan performed stacked DIEP microscopic reconstruction on me. I’m not going to lie and tell you it was easy (it wasn’t and isn’t) but they did an amazing job which has helped contribute to being up and about so soon. There are doctors who care, who take time, who listen. Find them. Don’t settle. I met with 6 reconstructive doctors before I found mine.
