Country. My father was born in North Carolina. Much of my family on my fathers side still resides throughout NC and VA.
My father was tall and lanky especially as a young man. He once told me that when he fought in WWII his fellow soldiers?used to call him “Country” because he was a country boy.
As a grown man he had a very slight southern drawl that would appear rarely in his speech but it was there none-the-less. ?

Today I am reminded of the beauty and diversity of our country. Diversity makes us strong and unique and beautiful just like the world we live in. ?
