The winning move! ?? Another really cool thing besides winning Vail WC this year was that I was able to win EVERY round of the competition this time. I have won Qualifiers and Semi-finals quite a bit over the years of competing in World Cups, but In the past I would usually mess up finals when I was first place going into the round. This time was different! I knew I would win if I sent the last boulder and it all came down to my 4 minutes on the final climb to prove to myself that I have what it takes to stand on top of the podium! Talk about pressure! ? BUT... I went out there with a grin ear to ear and I just knew I had what it took and was ready to leave it all out there on the wall!!! ? I have worked to be a more confident competitor and to believe in myself under pressure and it feels so sweet when hard work pays off! ??
