What’s your favorite color? Mine is pride colors (the whole damn rainbow!) ?
It’s pride month and for me it’s a time to stand proud for who you are! It’s also a time to remember uphold our key values of love, acceptance, education, and awareness, while remembering the struggles and victories in the ongoing fight for LGBTQ equality and visibility worldwide. Pride Month is about EVERYONE: no matter who or how we love, or how we identify ourselves. Pride is about reveling in the diversity of the community, and taking action in the face of intolerance, misinformation and ignorance.
I recognize the progress we have made as I attend friends weddings, witness family members coming out and help normalize an inclusive rhetoric. Your truth is what makes you unique. I see you. I stand beside you. I love you. You’re NOT alone!! #LoveIsLove #PrideMonth #LoudAndProud #Pride
