LONG POST ?: This is my fave moment of the whole event. Sam Coupe is the greatest big brother anyone could EVER wish for. Anyone who wants to argue that, meet me outside RIGHT NOW and I will fight you.
This guy shows up. No matter what. He broke his hip a few months ago and he showed up. He got on a plane and flew down to Tennessee last minute because his crazy little sister decided to commit to the weirdest thing... a music festival. If you know me, and/or watched my ‘story’ from last night you know I ain’t a festival girl. But my brother showed up. So did his amazing wife/one of my bestest friends @courtneyccoupe and also my bff/partner in crime/my goddamn rock, @houseofvenskus . They all showed up simply because I asked them. (And @thomaslincolncoupe would have if he could. Texted us the whole time.)
They didn’t bail when I nearly had a full tilt panic attack, and begged them to leave 15 minutes into getting there. They hung in there. They were loving and kind and helped me laugh that shit off. They always do. And we had a great time!!! That is unconditional love. That is true love. Now I know what it feels like. Shit is good. I’m so frickin lucky. So grateful. And sooooo buying tickets to Coachella. I’M KIDDING! I WOULD RATHER CURB MYSELF AMERICAN HISTORY X STYLE.
