@showstudio started reviewing the fashion shows by means of a live panel discussion nearly 8 years ago.
I have always wanted @showstudio to be able to honestly express opinions about the fashion shows . We talk truthfully and in-depth . We do not carry advertising on SHOWstudio so we are free to express strong and critical analysis and discussion about the shows and fashion in general.
I feel very strongly that every art form needs a strong critical forum otherwise that art form risks becoming moribund and irrelevant. All the other art forms have powerful critical reviews , wether it’s opera or cinemas , books or painting exhibitions , so why not fashion ?
It’s the third bigger industry in the UK so it deserves to be taken as seriously as any other art form .
We invite panelists from right across the industry, journalists, buyers , models , art historians, photographers, art directors and fashion students .
And soon members of the public !
