#recipeoftheday is Lily’s Scones, as far as I’m concerned the best scones in the world. Here they’re served with clotted cream and black treacle, known as Thunder and Lightning, but it’s not for everyone. Clotted cream and golden syrup also heavenly, though clotted cream and jam perhaps rules supreme. I’m not going to get caught up in whether it’s cream first or cream last. You do whatever pleases you. The important thing is to enjoy life, not turn it into a series of tests to persecute yourself or others with.
