we had one non-negotiable weekend ritual at our house, and it was watching Anthony Bourdain’s show every Sunday. His view of the world, and the people who make it such a beautiful mystery worth discovering, was so inspiring to me. His storytelling seamlessly showcased our unique differences worth celebrating, while also highlighting the ways in which we are all similar and ultimately connected. His passion for seeing the world and getting to know the people in it gave me the courage to book the flight, walk out the door, and do so in the spirit of adventure countless times over.
