I actually believe the world is worse off today with the passing of Anthony Bourdain. His way of telling story’s, his knowledge and passion for all things consumable was mesmerizing. I and few other Chef’s in Vancouver had a chance to meet and spend an evening with him many years ago, I’ve never forgotten that night, his charisma, his ease of meeting new people, making them feel welcome has stuck with me. In the last couple of years the world seems uneven and misguided - somehow he seemed to give balance after watching or reading his work. He is irreplaceable and we are worse off without him.
