The extremely spicy noodles at Momofuku noodle bar in Toronto.
A dish that causes me great pleasure and pain. I’ve told chef Hans Vogel to ban me from ordering this. Too much ? ? ?. Really it’s a slow burn and ruins my day.
It’s funny. Some people think that it’s too spicy and can’t take it. Then there are others that think it’s not spicy enough...it’s mild. It not an argument in semantics. It’s extremely spicy but still delicious and edible. Spicy tolerance is relative
We could of course make this the spiciest item you’ve ever eaten but that would make it inedible. If you are inclined to eat ? foods this is probably not the spiciest thing you’ve ever eaten. I personally think it’s about a 6.5 - 7.5 out of 10. But it’s certainly extremely spicy. I don’t know the exact scoville rating but we use certain chilies to make it a slow burn and something that you can still eat and taste stuff!! #uglydelicious
