I’m so proud to be part of this MeUndies #TrueColorsMoment campaign to raise money and awareness for the True Colors Foundation. They’re working to tackle the huge problem of homelessness among LGBTQ teens, many of whom are forced to leave home once they come out to their parents. I was luckier than many. I always had the love of my family, but growing up as a gay girl wasn’t easy. So many things were unknown, and for other things I didn’t have the words. Looking back, I wish I could tell myself not to worry so much about who I was, or spend so much time wondering what’s normal. I wish I could tell my younger self that we’re all exactly as we should be, and that young girl I was, was exactly who she should be at that moment in time #meundiespartner
