Growing up as an Asian American, I found it always hard to be represented in a lot of aspects of life. Whether it be television, music, social events, I never saw something specifically geared towards the Asian community. We’ve made a lot of breakthroughs in different forms of social media and entertainment that is paving new opportunities and roads for artists. A lot of the same aspects I saw growing up are constantly being updated now with more representation of Asians. Another aspect that I think is changing is the online dating community.
